Surf
Tyler and I managed to get up early enough for some sunrise surfing early this week. The stunning morning colors more than made up for the just-okay waves that morning.

We managed to dig up a couple purple sweet potatoes this summer.

Backyard Biodiversity
Last month, I was up to 157 species documented. Since then, I have made more observations using iNaturalist, bringing the count up to 170 species. What was once a blank canvas of urban lawn is slowly becoming a haven for a great diversity of species. Here are some recent photos, also viewable on my iNaturalist project: Backyard Biodiversity.
Final Thoughts
